Catherine Liddell

Catherine Liddell is in high demand for her skill, sensitivity, and experience as a continuo player. She has toured widely as a guest artist with many of the leading U.S. period-instrument ensembles. Pursuing her interest in 17th-century French music, Ms. Liddell has recorded the works of Jacques Gallot for Centaur Records. She has also performed on other projects for that label, as well as on recordings for the Dorian, Titanic, Wildboar, and Musical Heritage Society labels. Her book, Sacred Music for Lute, is available through Lyre Editions. She is a Teaching Associate at Boston University.
